Heart Chakra

Anahata (Sanskrit: अनाहत, IAST: Anāhata, English: "unstruck") or heart chakra is the fourth primary chakra, according to Hindu Yogic, Shakta and Buddhist Tantric traditions. In Sanskrit, anahata means "unhurt, unstruck and unbeaten".
Anahata is represented by a smoke-grey lotus flower with 12 petals. Inside is a smoke-coloured region made from the intersection of two triangles, creating a shatkona. The shatkona is a symbol used in Hindu Yantra, representing the union of the masculine and feminine.
The seed syllable is the dark-grey mantra "yam"
The twelve petals are vermilion-coloured, and on them are inscribed the syllables kam, kham, gam, gham, ngam, cham, chham, jam, jham, nyam, tam and tham in Sanskrit. They match the vrittis of lust, fraud, indecision, repentance, hope, anxiety, longing, impartiality, arrogance, competence, discrimination and defiance.
The Anahata chakra is in the central channel in the spine at the heart, with its kshetram (superficial activation site) between the breasts.
The fourth chakra, situated in the center of the body, is an anchor for all life force energy.

This chakra contains the seed for the ability to feel divine and pure love for everyone and everything. Pure means void of egoism and demands. The figures seen from the higher realms are beyond description. Light rose pink rainbows and rose colored flowers encircling them can be seen. Pure love is the most important quality in a human being. Love is what God demands his children learn and it is the only real demand for spiritual development.

Thymus - Circulatory System - Blood
Vitalizes the life stream through the pumping of the heart center, and controls the circulation of the blood. The heart feeds all cells within the body structure. Vitalizes the vegas nerve, the largest nerve in the parasympathetic nervous system. When open it helps us remove fear blocks, and brings compassion in the form of spiritual love. Through our Heart Chakra we can feel a connection and sense of oneness with others.

Unconditional Love, self-acceptance, and the place where Spirit can guide us to higher levels of being and loving. The heart is the Mother in all of us. Kindness, Forgiveness, Love, Peace and Harmony along with Laughter and Playfulness.

The Heart Chakra is associated with the parts of the consciousness concerned with relationships and our perceptions of love. The relationships we speak of here are with those people closest to our heart - partners, parents, siblings, children.
The parts of the body associated with this chakra include the heart and lungs, and the blood circulatory system as a system. This chakra is also associated with the thymus gland, which controls the immune system. When this is affected, as with AIDS, the person's lifestyle separates them from someone they love.

The physical sense associated with this chakra is the sense of touch, in its aspect of relating to the person inside the body. For example, a massage given to someone with no sensitivity to what the person is feeling inside would be an example of the sensation we associate with the Abdominal Chakra, but when the masseur seems to have a sense of what the person inside the body is experiencing, then it includes the aspect of relating we associate with the Heart Chakra. When someone experiences extreme sensitivity about being touched, we would ask what was happening at the level of the Heart Chakra.

This chakra is associated with the element of air. When someone has difficulty with air, with breathing (asthma, emphysema, tuberculosis, etc.), we say that their relationship with air reflects their relationship with love - difficulty letting it in, or letting it out, for example

Any intellectual knowledge is subordinated to the law of love. God is pure love and the most important in the journey of the soul. Love is the creative aspect in life. When you have love, you have the capacity to gain knowledge thus connecting you to the Love / God energy. Love makes this the most important of all the chakras.
